Tailor Made to Suit
There are three tour options available which at first glance may seem a bit confusing but I will explain.
The dates I have secured are the nights of 19/9/2019 to 28/9/2019 inclusive (a total 10 nights).
Some people find 6 nights to be perfect while others feel a longer stay would be better.
You decide what suits you.
Essentially everyone that opts for the 10 nights will arrive on day one and depart on the final day.
For those who feel 10 nights is too long they can select the first or second half of the secured dates as detailed below in Option A and Option B.
Preference will be given to those who want the 10 night trip but will also be on a “first-come-first-served” basis.
Option A - 6 Nights
Dates: 19/9/2019 – 25/9/2019
For the sake of explanation I shall call those on this tour “Group A“.
Depart from ORT International Airport early on the morning of 19th Sept. 2019 for Indlovu River Lodge and then on to Djuma Lodge on the 21/9/2019.
Those in ‘Group A’ who do not form part of ‘Group C’ (see below) depart Djuma for Johannesburg on 21/9/19 after the morning game drive.
Those staying for 10 nights remain at Djuma and link up with Group B.
Group A cost per person sharing US$ 2587.50
Single supplement an extra US$350.00
Option B - 6 Nights
Dates: 23/9/2019 – 29/9/2019
This tour party is “Group B‘.
Depart from ORT international early on the morning of 23rd Sept 2019 for Indlovu River Lodge and then on to Djuma Lodge on the 25th Sept. 2019.
Depart Djuma for Johannesburg on 29th Sept 2019
Group B cost per person sharing US$ 2587.50
Single supplement an extra US$350.00
Option C - 10 Nights
19/9/2019 – 29/9/2019
This group will be called “Group C” all of whom would also be in Group A and stay on to link up with Group B for the second part of the latter’s tour.
Depart from ORT international early on the morning of 19th Sept. 2019 for Indlovu River Lodge and then on to Djuma Lodge on the 21st Sept. 2019.
Depart Djuma for Johannesburg on 29/9/2019
Group C cost per person sharing US$ 4370.00
Single supplement an extra US$500.00
Prices Include
All safaris include:
- All ground transfers
- All meals starting from the first evening and ending with breakfast on day of departure
- A guide, a driver and a tracker for each of the two vehicles we will be using
- At least 3 sessions in the bird hides at Indlovu River Lodge
- 2 Photographic safaris per day (while at Djuma) at dawn and dusk.
- Photoshop and photographic lessons as required. These are usually on a 1-on-1 basis with the guides
- Luxury accommodation on a single or sharing basis
- Sundowner drinks and morning coffee/tea on safari drives
- Internet access (just remember this is Africa!)
- A wealth of education on a number of interesting subjects pertaining to wild life and the area in general. Questions are welcome as everyone benefits from the answers
- Special dietary requirements are catered for but need to be notified in advance
As Djuma is situated right next door to “Safari Live” we plan on visiting them one morning to see the operation broadcasting live. This should be a very interesting outing.
